if anyone is undecidedMandela hall is awesome. such a perfect venue. perfect size, great atmosphere, cheap beer. I prefer it to Vicar street, but ive never been to the olympia.

there is a chance though that if it sells out, it may be moved to the ulster hall as that has happened with a few bands recently.

but mandela... i can wait

WOOOgreat news, great venue too, more personal than Ulster Hall, cannot wait, was trying to hatch a scheme to do Olympia too and be back in omagh for 9am class I am teaching on the Monday, but may not work. Belfast works a treat! Frightened Rabbit and Frames in one week too!
made my day this!

no doubt Belfastwill be cheaper if that helps to convince anyone.
I had the ulster hall in my head all morning. That's even better then. Hope it doesn't get moved to a bigger venue.
Sandy come to Belfast if your making such a long trip you might as well do both. Just saying that because I can't come to Dublin and it would be cool to meet up again

Perfect choice for BelfastWell to be honest The Empire would be even better but it is too small. Going to be a beezer Belfast evening. Still buzzing from leccie picnic set at the weekend. Trying to organise the troops ahead of Friday. Very excited indeed.

Buffy & HelsHi folks, nice to meet you two at picnic. Its been a tough week since coming back from the gig. Got the cold the week before standing in the rain at Belsonic so the aul voice sort of packed in around 4am or so on Sunday morning. Strange for such a quiet soul you know. The lads set on Saturday night has left me on a euphoric high all week despite the hell of a tough week at work. Was very tempted to head up to Donegal this evening, but the thought of sleeping in tomorrow and missing the 9am ticket sale was enough to make me see sense.
Anyway, I thought I had to come here to mix with some like minded souls and post a bit. I have posted a few times before but never really stuck around. As an old David Gray message board poster I know of a few of ye, Kez and the wonderful Marg of course, it were her who sent me Dance The Devil and Breadcrumb Trail in the post back in 2001 (i think) and my love affair with this band started. Nige, who was with me at the weekend was another who heard of the band through that package. To be honest that generosity gave birth to around 10 new frames fans in my circle of friends......Marg will always be highly regarded round these parts for that

Anyway, I am starting to waffle now. Hello, I may stay about and post, but I'm heavily unreliable in that respect so I won't promise. Oh aye, and that Yoko talk at the weekend was just a bit of a laugh really. I really do love the Swell Season and I even like the piano in Fitz lol
